Achievement test

 A test of developed skill or knowledge is known as an achievement test. A standardized exam meant to measure skills and knowledge obtained in a certain grade level, usually through organized teaching, such as training or classroom instruction, is the most prevalent sort of achievement test.

Screening test

Short tests with a random selection of things that cover a wide range of skill levels, domains, or content areas. It's used to identify weak spots.

Aptitude test

They are used to determine how much a pupil has retained and to predict how much the learner will learn in the future.

Diagnostic tests

Determine a specific ability (e.g., fine motor skills).

Adaptive behavior scale

Assess how well pupils adjust to a variety of situations.

Norm reference test

Calculate your academic success. This information is used to determine eligibility decisions. When a student is compared to a norm group, it may be determined if the student is performing as predicted for his or her age and grade.

Curriculum-based Assessment 

Students are tested using the content they are exposed to in the classroom. Used to judge whether or not a student has mastered a given skill or program.

Each type of these specific tests can be used to reach the needs of all students with different abilities. The process of becoming future teachers working with students who require special education services is concerned with how those students perform on educational measures. These achievement tests are one such measure of all standardized tests, individually administered achievement test are the most numerous (Anastasi& Urbina 1998).
